Motivation:

To study and reform the drug regulatory system with the aim to facilitate and stimulate drug development in order to use every drug to its full potential throughout its life cycle

Education and experience:

Joris Langedijk holds a master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences and a master’s degree in Dutch law (Utrecht University). After having worked as a pharmacist in a hospital pharmacy, he worked at the Dutch Medicines Evaluation Board for five years, while he conducted his PhD research project at the same time. In December 2016 Joris obtained his PhD from Utrecht University. Since March 2016 Joris works as Corporate Counsel at Brabers in The Hague.
