Education and experience:
Anke holds a MSc degree in Health Technology Assessment (HTA) at the university of Nijmegen and she has a PhD in medicine with a thesis on the value and cost-effectiveness of MR lymphography for patients with prostate cancer.
Anke is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the University of Utrecht on research in HTA and pharmacoeconomics, focussing on methodology of economic evaluations and use of economic evaluations in policy.
Before coming to Utrecht she worked as a Payer Solutions Director at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) focuses on market access strategy and innovative payer solutions in Europe for products of GSK from early phase to launch and post launch. Before working at the European Headquarters she worked for five years as a Health Outcomes Manager for GSK The Netherlands in which she was responsible for reimbursement applications and pharmacoeconomic evaluations for several products. Part of this was also setting up studies for evidence generation on the value of GSK products in the Dutch Health Care system. She worked in several therapeutic areas including heamatology, oncology, diabetes, osteoporosis and pediatric infectious diseases.
Anke is involved in several PhD projects within the collaborating centre. She is copromotor of Armina Padmasawitri, Tom Achoki, Iga Lipska, Luqman Tariq, Junhee Pyo, David Tordrup, Alexandru Rusu, Tina Wang
